This is a rare opportunity to continue your communications journey while learning senior marketing, communication and public relation skills in a supportive collaborative purpose driven team.

Reporting to the Marketing and Community Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of public relations and communications activities, community programs and social content. This is a rare opportunity to join our expanding organisation in Victoria and truly contribute to the humanitarian objectives of St John.

About You

You will…

  • Have experience in PR, Media, Communications, Marketing, or social media.
  • Have experience writing media releases and pitching stories to journalists as well as Storytelling expertise.
  • Have experience pitching, crafting and placing media stories.
  • Have experience with content creation across social media platforms (written and visual), posting and scheduling content for social networks, monitoring a brand’s social channels and responding to activity on social media.
  • Knowledge of social and digital media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram) and best practice.
  • Strong writing ability and experience with a focus on the audience needs.
  • Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills.
  • Have a willingness to undertake a current Police check and Working with Children Check.
