The Opportunity

Our organisation is looking to recruit a key member to its Executive Leadership Team who will contribute to the organisation’s strategic directions and drive business growth and development in the Northern Territory. You will be responsible for providing leadership to and overseeing a number of functions that enable organisational wide service delivery including: Business Development, Procurement, Facilities Management, and First Aid Services (sales, restocking and training).

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will be experienced in working in a business focused / commercial environment. Your will understand the key drivers of business performance and be able to identify opportunities to develop new service delivery models, business systems and/or processes for the benefit of the whole organisation.

Ideally the successful applicant will have:

• 5 to 10 years’ experience as a senior manager/leader, with a business development focus.
• Experience working in a business focused / commercial environment, with demonstrated success in developing and driving new business initiatives, and achieving growth targets, whilst balanced with a strong commitment to and respect for community values.
• Knowledge and understanding of issues facing development areas in not-for-profit organisations.
• Good understanding of Marketing and Sales principles and practices would be highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, leadership and/or management.
• A postgraduate/Masters qualification in leadership / management would be highly regarded

Total remuneration will be paid commensurate with experience.
