St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. (St John NT) is the Territory’s leading provider in emergency medical response and preparedness. We have a mission to save lives and build community resilience to improve the safety and healthcare for all Territorians. We do this by providing a range of services from ambulance services under contract to the Northern Territory Government, coordination of emergency medical responses, event health services and first aid assistance at community and major events through to nationally accredited first aid training, community education and first aid products and equipment.
We are looking for a Chief Medical Officer, with experience in emergency pre-hospital care, to work alongside our Clinical Services Division, Ambulance Operations and Volunteer Division to deliver patient centred, culturally appropriate care informed by clinical best practice.
The Chief Medical Officer is a vital role within St John NT, having responsibility for management of the quality and governance of clinical services and practice across operational service delivery, including volunteers, ambulance services paramedics and patient transport officers.
The perfect candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the below experience, qualifications, and knowledge:
