St Bart’s Mental Health and Accommodation facilities deliver essential support services to individuals who are experiencing the risk of homelessness. The services help to build individual capacity and develop the skills required for the transition to independent living. As part of the wider preparations during these unprecedented times, we are currently urgently seeking to expand our casual workforce, to ensure we can continue to deliver the services required.

We are looking for reliable and highly motivated individuals to join the various services and accommodation facilities across Perth including Women’s and Family Accommodation.

  • Casual Support Workers
  • Varied shifts over a 7 day roster (Monday to Sunday)
  • Shifts Available:
    • Early Shift 7.00am – 3.00pm
    • Afternoon Shift 2.30pm – 10.30pm
    • Night Shift 10.15pm – 7.15am
  • Remuneration: from $34.17 per hour plus shift allowances

The successful candidates will have previous experience and understanding of mental health recovery, homelessness or other personal/social challenges of people with a lived experience. You will have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have the flexibility to pick up shifts as required.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a supporting community delivering various services and working alongside our clients who have a range of needs.

We welcome applications from qualified candidates, as well as those who may be currently studying towards a qualification, and looking to get some great hands on experience!

Essential Skills & Criteria:

  • Completed Tertiary qualification (or studying towards) in Community Services, Mental Health Services or any other similar discipline
  • Have current working rights to work in Australia
  • Have a current and satisfactory Police Clearance (obtained within the last 3 months)
