Remote / Work from Home
At Starlight we know that sick kids are still kids. Our mission is to brighten the lives of seriously ill children, and their families, by replacing the pain, fear and stress experienced through hospitalisation and treatment with programs that deliver fun, joy and laughter.
Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the purpose of this role is to optimise our regular giving campaigns to achieve and exceed targets. As the Direct Marketing Specialist - Regular Giving you will manage key supplier relationships, monitor key metrics across various channels (face to face, telemarketing and digital) and develop actionable insights, work closely with cross-functional teams and support campaigns to achieve income, acquisition and retention targets. This role is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract (with potential to become long-term) and will be a remote (work from home) position for those based outside of Sydney. For a successful Sydney applicant this role will initially be a remote (work from home) position until the Sydney office is safe to be reopened. With this approach we are open to applicants in Australia nationally.
You will be able to demonstrate your previous experience working in a similar regular giving role and be able to show a clear understanding of the critical success factors of direct marketing programs. You will have strong stakeholder management skills, be well versed in critical thinking, strategic planning, budgeting, briefing, targeting, proof-reading as well as monitoring and tweaking ongoing data/results to achieve the best outcomes for Starlight.
In addition to the above, you will possess:
At Starlight you have a chance to make an impact. You will have the opportunity to be creative, take initiative and grow. A career at Starlight is more than just a job. It’s the chance to work among friends every day, to work and play hard, and to see the results of your work firsthand whilst making a positive impact on the lives of sick kids every day.
Sound like you? Apply for the position here. We will be appointing the ideal applicant as soon as possible!
We are committed to providing positive experiences in an environment that’s caring, nurturing and safe. Successful applicants will therefore undertake a Working With Children Check and a National Police Check.
Starlight's vision for reconciliation is to embed values of awareness, acknowledgement and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and their culture within our organisation. We welcome applications from people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage.
