The Project Officer, CultureReady sits within SSI Diversity Training and will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of the CultureReady project in Victoria.
CultureReady is an 18 month project that will provide training to build the capability of disability service providers to deliver culturally responsive services to people living with disability from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds across NSW, VIC and QLD.
The Project Officer will work with the CultureReady team to engage disability service providers to participate in training opportunities and has the scope to deliver training according to skills and experience.
You must have a Bachelor Social Work, Education or equivalent and have worked in Project Management and establishment, experience in the settlement space or working with cultural diversity is required as well as relationship management skills. The successful candidate must also be able to work autonomously and be able to hit the ground running - having a highly established network within the disability sector is a must. Experience in adult learning in Diversity & Inclusion would be an advantage as would expertise in project management and implementation, design and delivery of adult learning as well as having a high level written and communication skills as the ability to facilitate would be favourable.
