Program Support Officer

Settlement Services International (SSI) is a leading community-based not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services in the areas of refugee settlement, asylum seeker assistance, housing, multicultural foster care, disability support and employment services in NSW. To support the overall operations of the settlement services team including in the drafting of policies and procedures, data download and management and drafting of reports.

Your main duties would include:

  • Draft and assist in the review of settlement services program policy and procedures that allow for consistent service delivery and compliance with program requirements
  • Download and analyse migration and settlement data and draft reports that support quality planning and review of settlement services
  • Sustain mutually rewarding relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including the SSI People and Culture team, Finance and SSI's NSP partners and the Youth Collective
  • Assist in the collaborative development and implementation of better practice standards for settlement services, including for youth services
  • Implement program administration processes and procedures that support effective program monitoring, reporting and evaluation including for the Settlement Innovation Fund
  • Other duties as directed from time to time within your skills range and capacity


You will have Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline coupled with Demonstrated experience in drafting policy and procedures as well as information and data analysis and reporting. Experience and/or knowledge of the settlement services sector would be advantageous. You will have Well-developed interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships. Excellent information/data analysis and reporting skills are a must for this role.
