ABOUT THE ROLE

The Parents Next Facilitator will lead and manage a caseload of participants and identify opportunities relating to activities/training and education and continually build relationships to assist participants in attaining sustainable employment career objectives.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Direct engagement of participants in career planning, strengths, assessments, accessing support services, training and programs.
  • Manage a caseload of parents who are experiencing Language barriers, Computer Literacy deficiency and unemployment including long-term unemployment.
  • Conduct intensive regular face-to-face meetings with parents and planning forward
  • Delivery of group based employability skills training
  • Ensuring all contractual requirements are continuously met, including timely recording of file notes, reporting outcomes and resulting of appointments in the Employment Services System (ESS)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience with ESS Web/Employment Services
  • Case management experience
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including Anti-discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to effectively build relationships
  • Proven ability working to targets and KPI's
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to effectively build relationships
  • Highly developed written & verbal communication and presentation skills
