Settlement Services International (SSI) is a leading community-based not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services in the areas of refugee settlement, asylum seeker assistance, housing, multicultural foster care, disability support, and employment services in NSW. The Team Leader will lead the employer engagement for the RESP and CPP programs, leading the delivery of employment outcomes for these programs whilst managing a team of 6 to ensure the team delivers on core objectives of forming and maintaining employer relationships, placing clients into employment and meeting placement targets, and retention of employment. The Team Leader will also be responsible for managing SSI's employer partners and corporate relationships, working with the Stakeholder Engagement Manager.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Community Services, Management or other relevant qualifications will be desirable coupled with experience in the employment services sector in a leadership or business development capacity, either working within or with the NFP sector. Your proven experience in and managing a team is essential for this role along with excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Your demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the issues facing people seeking employment, knowledge of labor market trends and skill shortage areas, and developing pre-employment programs would be highly desirable.
