ABOUT THE ROLE

The Team Leader will lead the employer engagement for the RESP and CPP programs, leading the delivery of employment outcomes for these programs whilst managing a team of 6 to ensure the team delivers on core objectives of forming and maintaining employer relationships, placing clients into employment and meeting placement targets, and retention of employment. The Team Leader will also be responsible for managing SSI's employer partners and corporate relationships, working with the Stakeholder Engagement Manager.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Lead the performance of the BDM team against core KPIs and strategic goals
• Work with the Stakeholder Engagement Manager to develop strategic plans and KPIs around these outcome areas.
• Work with Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead consistent service delivery improvements and improve the employment support we are providing for our clients.
• Lead employer engagement for the employment division teams, effectively maintaining current employer relationships and forging new partnerships.
• Manage the team to ensure that the vacancies available are a suitable match to the aspirations and skills of our clients, ensuring a suitable mix of lower and higher-skilled roles
• Report regularly to the Stakeholder Engagement Manager on progress towards strategic goals and KPI's.

ABOUT YOU - Selection Criteria

Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Community Services, Management or other relevant qualifications will be desirable coupled with experience in the employment services sector in a leadership or business development capacity, either working within or with the NFP sector. Your proven experience in and managing a team is essential for this role along with excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Your demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the issues facing people seeking employment, knowledge of labor market trends and skill shortage areas, and developing pre-employment programs would be highly desirable.
