A community based non Government agency providing services to disadvantaged young people and their families is seeking mature, energetic people for:

Full-time and casual positions based in Illawarra, Nowra, Goulburn, Queanbeyan or may need to travel to these areas at times.

About the role

• Residential and outreach youth work, case management and case work, crisis intervention, implementation of behaviour management strategies.

ESSENTIAL:

• Competency in positive interpersonal relationships;
• Proven and competent written, verbal, administration skills: demonstrated commitment to high ethical practice;
• Proven experience working with young people/families;
• Degree or Diploma (part way through or willingness to obtain depending on Service/Position) in youth work, community services or other relevant field;
• Driver’s licence, own transport, telephone;
• Available for shift work.

CONDITIONS:

Dependent on position, experience and qualifications.

• Full-time staff range $60,409 – $75,085.00 plus on-costs and penalties
• Generous salary packaging with income taxation savings through FBT exempt arrangements
• Casual range $37.22 - $42.58 an hour
