Position:

  • Status: Full-time (37.5hrs per week) Fixed term until 30 June 2022 with the likelihood of extension. Multiple positions available
  • Working Location: Positions available to be based at Edinburgh North across both of our Sonder and headspace Edinburgh North centres.

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic professionals to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary and growing mental health team to play a crucial role in the delivery of mental health care support and related functions.

Support Services Officers are critical to our service delivery, and this position will be responsible for providing high quality day-to-day administrative services to support the effective functioning of Sonder and headspace.

Reporting to the Support Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing professional and high-quality customer service and operational support, ensuring all incoming enquiries are attended to promptly, processing high demands of referrals, and providing information to young people, their families and other key community members.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in undertaking a range of operational and administrative duties within a large organisation, ideally amongst a multidisciplinary team, and within a healthcare setting. You will be courteous and professional in your approach when interacting with a wide and diverse consumer group, and possess a solid understanding of the considerations required when working within the health sector.

In addition to this, while this is an administrative role, applicants currently studying/who have completed study in a mental health or allied health field are strongly encouraged to apply.
