headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. headspace has 108 centres across Australia in metropolitan, regional and remote areas, as well as online and phone support services through headspace. Sonder is the lead agency for headspace Adelaide, Edinburgh North, Marion and Onkaparinga.

The Mental Health Clinician will work as part of a multidisciplinary youth mental health team at headspace Edinburgh North to deliver focused psychological interventions for youth aged 12-25 with mental health disorders in a primary care setting. This role is open to Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Nurses.

The Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for:

• Providing specialist triage, comprehensive assessment, review of client progress and outcomes and care planning/coordination and support of clients
• Providing evidence based clinical therapeutic services (individual and group) to youth within the Northern region of Adelaide.
• Group program development and implementation where appropriate and necessary
• Liaison and consultation with other professional employees and stakeholders
• Participation in individual and group supervision, and attendance at team meetings and external meetings
• Referral of clients and family members/careers to other services as required
