Position:

In-Home Withdrawal Senior AOD Coordinator

Working Location: Position located at our Sonder Edinburgh North office

Status: Full-time (37.5 hrs per week), fixed-term position

Thank you for your interest in applying for the position of Senior Mental Health Clinician.

The In-Home Withdrawal Senior AOD Coordinator will work as part of a multidisciplinary AOD team to deliver focused evidence based treatment options for individuals experiencing substance dependence wishing to undergo in-home withdrawal.

The role will be based at either Sonder Edinburgh North or Sonder Port Adelaide and be responsible for:

  • In collaboration with the AOD Services Team Leader, coordinate and support program staff in the delivery of in-home withdrawal treatment.
  • Conducting comprehensive AOD, safety, and risk assessments, treatment planning, and exit planning.
  • The coordination of client’s In-Home Withdrawal across the full spectrum of care.
  • The development and engagement of internal and external stakeholders in the coordination of in-home withdrawal treatment.

An Allied Health Qualification i.e. Social Work, or Occupational Therapy, or relevant undergraduate tertiary qualification i.e. Psychology and experience in the AOD sector is required for this role.
