  • emerge Team Leader - Part-time to Fulltime (up to 37.5 hrs per week)
  • Working Location: Position available to be based in our headspace Edinburgh North Centre.

The IPUY (emerge program) aims to provide services for young people with severe and/or complex mental health conditions through dedicated multi-disciplinary, multi-agency teams under a person-centred integrated acute, secondary and primary care model. Implementation of the program involves the establishment of shared clinical and service governance arrangements, integrated clinical care and related service pathways, care coordination and interrelated administrative and operational functions. Co-location of certain acute, secondary and primary services may occur as the IPUY develops.

The Team Leader will lead the Sonder emerge program operations and staff, and lead the clinical oversight, supervision and delivery of services whilst maintaining a small caseload of clients.

Along with leading the team, the Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the safe and appropriate allocation of resources to clients seen by the program, coordination of and liaison with and stakeholders and referrers, and implementation and monitoring of clinical governance systems.

All applicants must have approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology, mental health nursing or occupational therapy.

Membership of an appropriate professional body is required. Social workers are required to be eligible for full membership with AASW and to have or be willing to obtain MH Accreditation. Psychologists, mental health nurses, and occupational therapists are required to have full registration with AHPRA.
