Position: Closing The Gap Integrated Team Care Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Outreach Worker

Status: Part-time to Fulltime (up to 37.5 hrs per week) Contract Position

Working Location: Position available to be based in our Sonder Edinburgh North Centre, Wellbeing Services Building

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Outreach Worker (ATSIOW) will work closely with other CTG ITC team members to better connect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to health services that will improve the health outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and reduce the barriers to access appropriate primary health care services.

Certificate level qualification in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander primary health care (or willingness to undertake such training) is a must. The successful applicant will demonstrated effective communication skills and will have a Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases.
