The Role

Soldier On is offering various roles that will utilise evidence-based psychology to provided treatment (via face to face and telehealth counselling services) as well as deliver group programs for veterans and their families.

This role allows for autonomy within a supportive team environment, operating under the guidance of internal and external supervisors who are experts in the veteran field. The Psychology services team provides clinical and counselling services to Soldier On participants. This role offers variety in the workday, including;

  • Providing face to face and telehealth services,
  • Contributing to existing programs,
  • Develop and implement alternative programs, workshops or producing written content and presentations for various audiences.

You

You will be a true team player, capable of working with and engaging a broad cross-range of people and passionate about working with our client group.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
  • Eligible for Medicare Provider Number
  • Strong clinical skills and interest in working with a specific but diverse population
  • Previous experience delivering trauma-focused therapies for clients presenting with PTSD symptoms and complex trauma
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a small-team environment
