The Role

We are looking for a number of a registered health professionals, Psychologist/ Accredited Mental Health Clinicians across regional NSW. This position aims to provide short term evidence based psychological interventions to individuals, children, young people and families with mild to moderate mental health issues.

Specifically you will:

  • Deliver clinical services and assessment through individual and group interventions
  • Provide assessments that identify individual strengths, skills as well as needs
  • Provide counselling, therapy and programs for mental health, emotional wellbeing and complex family concerns

Skills Required

To be successful in these roles you will need:

  • Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Psychology. Current and full registration with AHPRA.
  • Have a Medicare Provider number (or be eligible and willing to obtain Medicare provider number)
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Criminal History Check.
  • Min 3 years’ experience in working with individuals and families across the life span or mental health sector.
  • Evidence of clinical supervision and ongoing professional development
  • Ability to identify and respond to children at risk of harm, and follow agency and legislative requirements relating to child protection.
