The Organisation

Our client is a leading national charity dedicated to the prevention, support and survival rate of those with cancer. They create new knowledge, engage in public education, awareness building and advocacy.

The Role

Working as an integral part of the Communications & Digital Strategy team, this role is responsible for the development of brand identity and establishing online presence. You will have demonstrated success in implementing multi-channel social media strategies and content plans.

Specifically you will:

  • Lead on strategy, delivery, monitoring and governance of content across various platforms
  • Create and contribute to the development of creative social media and fundraising campaigns
  • Build and engage online communities across key social media platforms
  • Support brand, stakeholder and service delivery objectives across a national network of centres
  • Drive engagement, grow and convert audiences, both at a channel and campaign level

Skills Required

You will have deep knowledge and experience of digital marketing, website publishing, social media platforms, community management, audience-centric storytelling and experience in cross-format content creation to drive reach and engagement.

Additionally you will have:

  • Demonstrated success in implementing multi-channel social media strategies and content plans
  • Experience in copywriting, developing, optimising, monitoring and reporting on campaigns
  • Superior time management skills to manage multiple projects, and competing deadlines
  • The ability to professionally manage third-party and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Graphic design skills for the development of social media content files
  • Some experience with basic video editing is desirable
