Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) is the Northern Sydney Primary Health Network (PHN), part of a national program of primary health networks designed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of health care for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes.

The Role

Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, the role is a key member of the Commissioning and Partnerships [AP1] team. Specifically you will:

• Support and influence health commissioning across SNHN
• Commissioning of health services required for SNHN to deliver its contracted commitments
• Monitor performance of commissioned services to drive the continuous improvement of service delivery
• Liaise and negotiate with various internal and external stakeholders
• Contract management, procurement, reporting writing, quality improvement

This role is offered for an initial contract period until June 2023, [AP2] but the intention is that this role be ongoing, dependant on funding.

Skills Required

You will have significant experience in health service planning or delivery, health project delivery or health policy review and improvement. You also have:

• Expert written and oral presentation skills
• Experience in project management, understanding of contracts management & procurement
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
• The ability to present information effectively to a variety of audiences
