Family Connect and Support (FCS) is a new and exciting state wide service, building on the great work of the well-known Family Referral Service. FCS will provide timely information and advice and connection into service support for children, young people and families who may be experiencing challenges in everyday life.
The Program Worker role will be responsible for providing high quality, strengths based and person centred intake, assessments and interventions within a case management framework. The ability to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the service and to build positive connections and work collaboratively with key stakeholders are essential to the position.
The role will sit within a highly skilled, supportive and motivated team and will involve travel to other locations and settings across the region.
The person we are looking for will be innovative and solution focused, passionate and have great people skills. They will also have a deep understanding of the challenges that face families, children and young people and the ability to achieve positive outcomes for customers within a fast paced environment.
