About the Role

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Youth Worker to join the team at SMLS.

This Youth Worker will work directly with young people to encourage engagement in a community legal education program delivered in a sports context. The Youth Worker will develop links, systems and capacity for young people to participate in, connect with and contribute to the project. The position is part of the Community Development team at SMLS and working directly in the Sporting Change program.

• This position is fixed term part time
• SCHCADS Award
• Up to $16,000 per annum can be salary packaged
• 9.5% superannuation
• Additional grace leave days in the period between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

About You

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a drive to build relationships and engage with young people.
