The Specialist Family Violence Lawyer will be working victims of sexual assault and their families to make applications to the Victims of Crime Tribunal. This important position forms part of the Integrated Services for Survivor Advocacy and works collaboratively with staff from the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (SECASA), and a cohort of SMLS volunteers and staff to lead this high-profile service. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded service that has been operating for over 25 years.
You will possess excellent communication and time management skills with a drive for positive outcome for clients as well experience in the provision and development of effective legal services to victim/survivors and associated people affected by sexual assault and family violence.
