The Smith Family is an independent children's charity helping Australian children living in disadvantage to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.

We are currently seeking a Practice Development Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Practice Development Analyst and working with a dedicated and passionate team, contributing to The Smith Family’s vision.

A day in the life of a Practice Development Analyst might look like this, but every day can be different.

Primarily, you will be responsible for:

  • Design and facilitate capacity building opportunities for Learning for Life team members to embed effective practice
  • Develop practice resources that clarify policy and enhance practice
  • Analyse data sets to support targeted practice support
  • Lead discrete projects and/or participate in working groups that support the enhancement of practice.

It takes a special kind of person to be our Practice Development Analyst.

Our successful candidate will bring the following:

  • Knowledge and experience of taking a partnership approach to service delivery
  • Ability to produce clear and engaging practice resources
  • Ability to facilitate engaging workshops face to face or online
  • Experience in using excel and CRM dashboards to understand and analyse data
