The Smith Family is a national, independent children’s charity helping disadvantaged Australians to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. We are currently seeking an Office Coordinator to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Regional Programs Manager and working with a dedicated and passionate team in this pivotal role you will contribute to The Smith Family’s vision. You will primarily be responsible for coordinating and supporting the activities in the Northern Territory office in an effective, timely and efficient manner.

A day in the life of an Office Coordinator can be very different, but might look like this:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and regular review
  • Maintenance of a safe working environment – adherence to WHS policy and procedures
  • Accounts processing and data entry in accordance with TSF audit requirements
  • Assist the delivery and administration of appropriate programs either place-based or from the Learning for Life suit in partner schools
  • Liaise with schools and other partners around programs when require e.g. with event management

  • Demonstrated experience in administration including finance and budgeting
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating events
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Holds a current driver’s license
