Embarking on our five year strategy, we have a newly created opportunity for a talented, accomplished, and adept Senior Leader to develop and drive The Smith Family’s digital, data and technology strategies and operations.

About our role

The Smith Family has an ambitious growth strategy, dependent on the acceleration of the development and implementation of a broad suite of digital solutions and channels. This Executive role will accelerate best-in-class digital, data, technology activities and organisational capabilities supporting the execution of strategic initiatives and delivering on the roadmap for results. The key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and implement Digital (including technology) and Data strategies, set direction to bring the strategies to life, including change management and capability building
  • Develop and implement the strategy and framework for The Smith Family’s Agile ecosystem
  • Develop and own the strategy and framework for data governance, processes, and analytics
  • Lead enterprise architecture strategy, integration, and implementation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure application of innovative and improved technology, integration of existing technologies into a collaborative design and adoption of best-in-class practices to meet overall objectives and strategy
  • Drive innovative solutions through digital channels to improve the customer experience
  • Partner with Senior Leaders in developing the culture, capacity, and capability of the organisation to expand digital, technology and data opportunities
  • Lead the integration of all segregated Digital, Data and Technology teams

About you

As an experienced Executive/Senior Leader of digital transformation and/or digital strategy, you’ll bring an excellent track record of leading and overseeing large scale transformations and driving digital growth. You will also bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in business, marketing, analysis, or related field.
  • Experience working successfully within matrix environments working across boundaries and leading through influence
  • Demonstrated experience and leading within Agile environment
  • Proven people leadership, developing and coaching successful teams
  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to inspire and influence a diverse workforce, quickly gaining respect
  • Experience driving and embedding change – engage and influence multiple stakeholders, ‘make things happen’, and manage change effectively
