The Smith Family is a national, independent children’s charity helping disadvantaged Australians to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Facilitate the Smith Family programs in a professional manner in classroom setting and be student centric delivering programs about transition to high school (Passport to Success – Year 6), the world of work (FutureSeekers – Years 4-5 and possible Years 8-9).

  • Managing professional relationships with participants and the school community as the organisation’s representative

  • Manage time and priorities and communicate effectively with varying stakeholders, especially students. 

It takes a special kind of person to be one of our Financial Literacy Facilitator. Successful candidates will bring the following:

  • Potential to facilitate additional education-focused programs in our partner schools

  • Experience in facilitating to the age group of the program/s you are delivering

  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance.
