The Smith Family is an independent children's charity helping Australian children living in disadvantage to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. As we lead up to our Centenary, it’s an exciting time to be joining our family. We are currently seeking an Administration Coordinator VIC to help us achieve The Smith Family’s vision.

This role will provide administration support to the Victorian team under the framework of the nationally developed policies and program plans. The Admin Coordinator assists the Office Manager, Victoria to ensure that the administration support provided to all activities within Victoria are efficient, effective and timely.

A day in the life of an Administration Coordinator VIC might look like this, but every day can be different.

Primarily, you will be responsible for:

  • General administrative support (such as: ordering stationery, maintaining email distribution lists, manage the office kitchen roster, etc)
  • Assist with Volunteer Engagement e.g. Recruitment and CRG events
  • Assist the General Manager in the preparation of monthly reports
  • Assist in orientation of new staff to the Melbourne office
  • Processing invoices for payment according to the TSF policy and audit requirements and sending to Accounts Payable in a timely manner
  • Answering incoming calls to Reception and respond to messages

  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Highly organised and able to create easy systems to follow for others
  • Microsoft office suite
