The role

As part of a team, that fosters an open, supportive and fun culture, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of SHQ’s internal and external marketing and communications. Your key focus will be to develop, implement and evaluate innovative marketing and communication plans and initiatives that align with key business growth strategies. This will involve work on everything from marketing strategy, PR and events, content creation, media partnerships, and strategic communications.

The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and work effectively in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment will serve you well in this role.

Your Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing/ communications role preferably in a health and/or not for profit setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing marketing and communications strategy, campaigns, print materials and digital media campaigns.
  • Proven ability to research, write, edit and proofread content with expert layout/design skills for media and social media releases.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of digital marketing.
  • Capable in Adobe Creative Suite, OneDrive, SharePoint, Canva, Eventbrite, Facebook, WordPress, Excel, SurveyMonkey, and Mail Chimp.

Your qualifications and/or other requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Marketing/Communications or relevant discipline
  • A National Police Clearance no older than 6 months from date of issue.
