An exciting opportunity exists at Shoalcoast Community Legal Centre to join our legal team as a Generalist Solicitor in the Cooma and Queanbeyan area.

This position requires an experienced Solicitor who can provide legal advice and assistance along with community legal education to disadvantaged clients in the Snowy Monaro and Queanbeyan/Palerang Local Government Areas.

The successful applicant will be required to provide legal advice over the phone and in face to face appointments as needed. You will be required to cover regular outreach clinics in Cooma and Queanbeyan and provide community legal education as required.

This position is for 4 days a week. The successful applicant will work from their home office with regular contact and ongoing training from the office in Nowra. The role includes travel throughout the Snowy Monaro and Queanbeyan/Palerang areas in order to engage with stakeholders and develop networks to strengthen Shoalcoast’s reach and profile in this area.
