An exciting opportunity exists at Shoalcoast Community Legal Centre to join our legal team as a Civil Solicitor for our COVID project.

This position requires a Solicitor who can provide Civil law advice and ongoing assistance over the phone and face to face to residents of Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Snowy Monaro and Queanbeyan/Palerang Local Government Areas whose lives have been negatively affected by the COVID pandemic.

The successful applicant will be required to give legal advice and ongoing assistance in a variety of legal areas including credit and debt, consumer, welfare, employment, and tenancy law. The applicant will also need to deliver community legal education, engage with stakeholders and participate in our law reform activities. The position is full time hours and is contract term until 31 October 2021. The position is based in Nowra, although some time can be worked at home.
