Support Workers

Sparrow Health

We’re Hiring! Support Workers

Sparrow Health is an NDIS provider with a range of participants in the intellectual and psychosocial disability space. Our community is full of wonderful individuals who will surely enrich your life!

To be a Support Worker with Sparrow you need to be someone who has a heart for those living with intellectual disability and mental illness. You need to be excited about the potential that people have and helping them discover it within themselves. In this role, you have the opportunity to impact people's lives far beyond their basic survival needs. Our support work is about helping people discover their passions and talents and supporting the development of those things. In turn, you are also assisting people with things like social anxiety and depression while empowering them to maintain a good and independent life.

POSITION

This is a casual role and you need to be willing to take a minimum of 3 days per week (although it may not start with this at the beginning). From there, it’s up to you how many more hours you take but we would love someone who wants to make Sparrow a main gig.

In addition to Support Work, you may also want to offer your services in our Nutrition, Music, Art or Personal Training programs. If you have skills in these areas, we’d love to hear about it.

DISCOVER · DEVELOP · RELEASE

We exist to see people discover their passions and talents, help them develop their skills, and provide platforms for them to contribute to the community.

We believe every human has been designed uniquely with something they can offer to change the world around them for the better. Our interactions with people are all about helping them see this in themselves.
