The Community and Digital Campaigner will develop and support ongoing local and state-wide campaigns, ensure that the electorate is informed and engaged with the Senator’s work, develop and execute online and offline campaign strategies in order to achieve the campaign goals and play an integral role in the upcoming election campaign.
Reporting to the Communications and Campaigns Adviser, the position will be part of the Launceston Electorate Office team.
This position will involve irregular hours and occasion intrastate travel.
The position is offered under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 and conditions are outlined in the Commonwealth Members of Parliament Staff Collective Agreement 2016 - 2019. The salary is supplemented by an Electorate Staff Allowance (ESA) in recognition of the irregular hours and other special features of this position. In addition to your salary, generous employer-sponsored superannuation of 15.4% is offered.
The position is offered at an Electorate Officer A classification ($50,956.00 - $68,482.00 per annum) per annum with an additional Electorate Staff Allowance of $20,150.00 per annum for a total per annum salary range of $71,106.00 - $88,632.00.
A probationary period of 3 months, with the option of extending by a maximum of two months, will apply.
All employees are expected to sign confidentiality and code of conduct agreements.
This is an ongoing position, but please note that all positions in the Senator’s office are open to restructure following an election.
