Then the Spruce Grounds Maintenance Team Leader might be the role for you.

Self Help Workplace (a social enterprise in Launceston) is looking for a motivated hard working team leader who can support a team of employees do grounds maintenance work in the greater Launceston area. Our customers value good quality work, done safely and professionally. This is an opportunity for the right person to build the business while supporting people with disability to learn work and life skills. You will also help out with deliveries and work with our timber manufacturing team.

Successful candidates will have or be able to obtain a clear national police check and working with vulnerable persons card, NDIS Workers Orientation module completion certificate and Category 3 chemical user - Certificate of Competency.

Essential Selection Criteria:

• Self-directed and motivated
• Team leadership
• Respect for and valuing people with disability
• Manual handling and operating garden equipment
• Medium rigid truck licence
