At See-Mode, we are building tools that help to identify and assess conditions like stroke, cardiovascular disease, and a wide array of other medical conditions.

We know there are millions of things we can do and many different problems we can solve for clinicians, and it’ll be your job to work out what we are going to do and how.

The role

As Senior Product Designer you will be working in a cross-functional team to solve complex problems that clinicians face in their daily workflows. Your primary focus will be on evolving our AI-powered reporting tool that clinicians use to analyse medical images and craft visual diagrams.

What you will be doing

• You will provide user insights in your team so that they can make informed decisions during planning and delivery
• You will provide the necessary design assets and guidance for delivering high quality experiences
• You will ensure that user interactions with different touch-points are harmonious and cohesive
• You will contribute to our own design system and visual language
• You will contribute to our evolving brand as we grow
• You will contribute to processes and practices that help your team be efficient in their delivery
• You will engage with users and industry experts to build a deep understanding of their needs and share this knowledge internally
• You will work closely with product and engineering to realise user and business outcomes

What you can demonstrate

• You have 3+ years experience as a product designer in a product team
• You have experience working with cross functional teams
• You have experience working end-to-end from discovering problems to delivering solutions
• You have a portfolio that demonstrates breadth in your design and product thinking
• You are collaborative and curious by nature and love phrases like “how might we…?”, “it depends…?” and “what if…?”.
• You are eager to learn new things (prior medical knowledge is not required to apply for or excel at this role)
• You are pragmatic in your approach to coming up with solutions and consider impact vs effort
• You are comfortable conducting user research
• You have a strong knowledge of design fundamentals like typography, colour and spacing
• You have a fundamental understanding of HTML + CSS
• You are excited about solving complex interaction patterns that haven’t necessarily been solved before
• Familiarity with working remotely is a plus
• Knowledge with React and JS is a plus
