Outlook is a social enterprise meaning it runs successful and ethical businesses that fund investment back into people. The Community Services division provides services to a range of people across Disability and Employment Services and the Community Centre..

The Operations Manager will provide leadership to the Employment and Disability Services and Community Centre teams, ensuring the delivery of services meet agreed policy guidelines and contract requirements of Government funding. This role will be responsible for program resources, budgets and administration as well as executing strategic plans and objectives that drive innovative and effective outcomes for participants and service users. The Operations Manager will also contribute to the on-going development and improvement of the program and build collaborative, meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across the network. This role reports to and provides critical support to the General Manager, Community Services on a range of strategic and operational issues. 

To be successful in this role you will be values driven, forward-thinking, and highly experienced in an Operational Management role within the provision of the Employment Services sector. You’ll have a positive approach to leading teams with a focus on collaboration and empowerment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance aligned to organisational plans and customer service. Your style will be collaborative and you will model leadership behaviours that promote a ‘can-do’ attitude and flexibility in the way that you work. 

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, problem-solving, and being hands-on. Naturally, you will be a skilled manager and communicator, be able to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders and have sound financial and business acumen. You will have a proven ability to think creatively, pursue innovative solutions, and be trusted to deliver successful results. Knowledge of the NDIS will be highly regarded.
