Scouts NSW are currently recruiting for a Property Administrator, with some analytical skills to assist the Property team in the co-ordination, management and support services for the Asset portfolio across NSW.

With over 600 properties and locations, from campsites and boatsheds to halls and Activity centres, this role provides a diverse exposure to landlords, Councils, Crown Land, government bodies and a variety of property management disciplines.

Applicants will ideally be able to demonstrate an aptitude and experience in successful co-ordination and administration of assets, and property services including collaboration with team members, service providers, contracted parties and passionate volunteers.

Additionally, the ability and interest in performing benchmark analysis across various property management areas of commercial viability, finance, sustainability, and industry targets will be greatly welcomed.

This role may also be of interest to candidates recently graduated, and currently a property-focused executive, as an ideal platform to engage and pursue a Property and asset management career, working in a vast, immensely diverse and transformational environment.

The role reports directly to the Head of Property and is for a minimum period of two (2) years, with a possibility of role extension.

Key areas of competency for the role are:

  1. Team co-ordination, multi-task cross functional management, in a fast paced, and emerging environment.
  2. Commercial/financial and research skills including data analysis, insights management and reporting development.
  3. Attention to detail, confidentiality, professionalism and a collaborative approach to supporting an inclusive and engaged workplace.
  4. Stakeholder engagement, superior communications and interpersonal skills
  5. Microsoft suite, social media platforms, current or emerging property management platforms.
  6. Tertiary, industry or relevant experience equivalent.

Highly desirable, though not critical, will be those applicants with experience working either for, or with:

  • Volunteer, or NFP type organisations with geographically diverse membership.
  • Dealings with Crown Land, and related Local, State and Federal government departments in LGA Councils, Regional development, and related parties

The successful applicant must complete a Working with Children (WWC) and National Police background checks, and to hold and maintain a current NSW driving licence.
