About the opportunity

The Advisor (disability) is responsible for delivering technical expertise for Scope Global’s Maven business that provides services for organisations and communities seeking to improve their disability inclusion practices. The role has a focus on designing and delivering specific technical services that aim to break down barriers for disability inclusion in mainstream society.

• Position reports to: Disability Inclusion Advisor
• Location: Flexible – Head Office in Pirie Street Adelaide or home based
• Contract type: Casual, accompanied by Project Agreements.  

Key responsibilities

• Conducting accessibility audits for physical premise and / or online spaces
• Reviewing websites for accessibility and compatibility with screen reading software
• Designing and conducting disability awareness training

About you

• Experience of living with a disability (visible and / or invisible)
• Previous experience with one or more of the key responsibilities listed
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to provide outstanding customer services at all times
• Demonstrated computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office, internet and email
