About The Role

The Manager of PBSS will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing the PBSS budget in order to meet financial KPI’s.
  • The development and implementation of quality structures, systems and processes, to support the efficient delivery of PBS projects, business plans and briefs. This includes the analysis and interrogation of data to inform service delivery.
  • Developing and implementing the PBSS work plan, aligned to the CIRC business plan.
  • Advising the CIRC manager and internal stakeholders on strategic, financial and operational matters.
  • Achieving growth targets and overseeing fee for service activities.
  • Management of the day-to-day operations of the PBSS services including but not limited to intake, NDIS, onboarding, wait list (with intake officer), bookings, clinic schedules, staff productivity/utilisation, product/training sales, invoicing.
  • Leadership of timely and effective marketing and communications.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Participating in strategic planning as it relates to CIRC and PBSS.
  • Setting clear performance targets and objectives for the Positive behaviour support team that drives performance management.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement within the team that supports Scopes organisational culture and change program.
  • Leading the team that supports a people management culture that is underpinned by EEO, human rights and builds employee resilience and inclusion. That also recognises its Duty of Care responsibilities towards customers and employees.
  • Implementing a quality control process and customer outcome measurements and implementing quality improvement strategies.
  • All compliance standards being met including appropriate documentation for credentialing, registration, insurance, and service agreements of practitioners are on record and kept up to date.
  • Review and managing risk, compliance, operations, workforce and financials.
  • Ensuring staff are knowledgeable about organisational goals and objectives and the connection to their work.

About You

  • You have a recognised qualification in Business and/or Allied Health.
  • You have demonstrated experience in a practice management role/setting within the NDIA, health or disability sector.
  • You have proven change management and negotiation skills.
  • You are experienced in managing large projects.
  • You have extensive financial management experience, including managing budgets.
  • You have specialist knowledge/background in the delivery of positive behaviour support services.
  • You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage with practitioners and other stakeholders.
  • You have high level working knowledge of NDIS and Medicare systems and processes.
  • You have highly developed analytical skills and a proven track record in problem solving and effective decision making.
  • You have the ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures whilst managing multiple tasks.
  • You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in the CIRC leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must provide the following:

  • Current Driver’s License and your own vehicle.
  • Satisfactory Working With Children's Check (Employee).
  • Satisfactory National Police Check for 'Employment in Disability' (no more than twelve months old).
  • Must satisfy all visa requirements for working in Australia.
