About The Role

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Customer Advocacy Advisor to work within our Safeguarding Unit.

The Customer Advocacy Advisor is responsible for supporting customers to provide feedback about service quality and refer customers to external advocates and other mainstream supports to maximise their opportunity to participate in community life. The role is also responsible for supporting operations staff to address systemic issues associated with complex customer complaints and managing strategic relationships with external networks.

About You

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in disability or another community service field and a strong understanding of and commitment to person-centred service provision. They will possess negotiation and counselling skills and/or qualifications and hold a certificate IV in training and assessment or otherwise have experience in provision of training to staff. It is also expected that applicants have an understanding of quality frameworks and continuous improvement, and experience in using communication tools will be highly regarded.
