The Settlement Council of Australia (SCoA) is the national peak body representing more than 100 member organisations that deliver effective settlement services across Australia to migrants, especially those of refugee background. SCoA is seeking a CEO to work closely with the SCoA Board to oversee and deliver the work of the organisation. The key responsibilities of the CEO include:

• Build the capacity of the settlement sector by encouraging and strengthening collaboration and partnerships
• Promote best practice in settlement, including through the National Settlement Services Outcomes Standards (NSSOS) and Benchmarking
• Drive improvements in the settlement sector’s service delivery by ensuring regular sector consultation and information dissemination, and identifying and responding to service gaps and barriers
• Promote SCoA’s membership and settlement services to policy makers, planners and other peak bodies
• Manage SCoA’s operations including staff, infrastructure and finances within agreed budgets.
