The Donor Experience Team seeks to deliver positive engagement, recognition and experiences for donors, volunteers, patients and their families.

The Impact Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful implementation of the SCHF Impact strategy with responsibility for the coordination, communication and administration of the core activities required to demonstrate how our funding helps improve child health.

The Impact Coordinator will help achieve this by focusing on the coordination and delivery of acquittal and impact reporting, supporting major impact-related projects such as our social impact framework and providing general administration support.

Specific Responsibilities include:

Coordination and Development

  • Coordinate acquittal reporting needs for SCHF fundraising teams and liaise with key SCHN PR and hospital staff to provide best-practice donor and staff engagement.
  • Consult fundraising team to understand and support their acquittal and impact reporting needs.
  • Coordinate and maintain an automated impact and acquittal reporting system to provide shared status updates and reporting needs analysis.
  • Collaborate with key staff to ensure Impact and Acquittal information is stored and can be easily accessed by all staff in a centralised knowledge bank.
  • Centralise and capture individual project metrics that can scale up to global metrics for SCHF impact reporting.
  • Identify and help resolve any issues or challenges with acquittal and impact reporting.
  • Scope, collate and create a select number of acquittal and impact reports and collateral (eg infographic, video etc)

Major Project Support and Contribution

  • Provide support on major impact projects such as establishing the SCHF Social Impact Framework and the Annual Impact Report, which could include but is not limited to:
    • Developing and maintaining a project plan
    • Meeting support (e.g. Develop and distribute Agenda, Pre-Meeting Packs, Minutes; book meeting times and venue / virtual, coordinate speakers and presentations)
    • Drafting and disseminating project updates
  • Contribute to related major projects such as the Retention and Re-engagement Project.

Administration Support

  • Calendar and meeting coordination
  • Monitor and coordinate acquittal reporting needs and information storage
  • Develop processes and systems to support Impact function, as required
  • Coordinating quotes, invoices, payments and budget tracking
  • Ensure regular communication of results and priorities through regular meetings, including WIPS and one-on-ones.

General

  • Demonstrating leadership, professionalism and a donor-centric work ethic including a commitment to SCHF vision, purpose, and competencies.
  • Perform any other duties that are reasonable and required for your position and/or requested by your manager.

Experience, Qualification & Competency Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Appropriate qualifications or relevant experience preferred
  • Up to two years’ experience working in fundraising, client service, sales or marketing, preferably at complex organisations.

Functional / Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record of administrative support and project/team coordination.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the demonstrated capacity to develop authentic relationships through optimising key relationships across extensive networks and contacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to project management, problem solve and prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate, engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across varying levels and backgrounds.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate, be persuasive, develop trust and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High level computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
  • Experience with software and online tools for project management, visual aid creation (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suites), video editing, preferred.

Desirable

  • Demonstrated ability communicating complex health information and/or funding outcomes in a clear, engaging manner.
