Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation providing a comprehensive range of free and low-cost health, wellbeing and community services in early childhood, youth, families, adults, aged and disability.
Covering an area of over 1700 km2 from Sunbury to beyond the borders of Macedon Ranges Shire our 280 staff and 100 volunteers are based across four sites at Kyneton, Romsey, Sunbury and Woodend.
The organisation has a proud history of delivering community health services to the region for over 40 years.
The Human Code project coordinator’s role is to build capacity and coordinate activities to support men in the Macedon Ranges to challenge outdated masculine stereotypes. This position will support a collaborative commitment by building the capacity of key stakeholders and the community to understand this work and the impacts, using a community development approach.
The Human Code is a partnership project that includes lead agencies Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health, Victorian Central Primary Care Partnership and the Macedon Ranges Shire. A number of smaller partners including community are also contributing to this project.
Your excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as your ability to build relationships and work collaboratively will see you successfully lead this project.
You will be a motivated individual with experience in managing projects within a community development framework. You will be a leader who is flexible, organised and supportive and be excited about the contribution you can make to improving community outcomes.
While the position is 2 days per week, flexible use of these hours and workplace options will be considered.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), a NDIS Safety Screening check, and hold a current valid Working With Children Check.
