No day is the same in Save the Children's Australian Services. We need you to lead our dedicated program teams to maximise positive impact on the lives of children and families. In this varied and challenging role, you will manage and develop our Family Connect and Support and Targeted Early Intervention programs across the Murrumbidgee area through team leadership, individual work, and group work. You will foster lasting links with the community and encourage active engagement with the services we are proud to deliver.

In this full time fixed-term leadership position (until end of December 2023, with potential for extension), based in Wagga Wagga (with flexibility to work from home), you will demonstrate leadership, guidance, and supervision of your team to accomplish ambitious goals for the intervention support for families and children. You'll be part of our Australian Services team and report to our Regional Manager.

You're active, creative and flexible in your approach to working with families and children, using a trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally sensitive framework within communities and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. You have a well-developed ability to develop and maintain partnerships with external organisations at all levels, and you can supervise, coach and mentor others with an empathetic approach.
