Supporting and coaching hiring managers to employ the right person with the right skills for the right role at the right time is where you step in. Working within a decentralised model, you will develop and implement continuous improvements to build Save the Children's recruitment brand internally and externally.

Where you come in:

This a maximum term 12-month contract to cover a parental leave absence and designed to lead a dedicated function to deliver excellent recruitment outcomes across our entire organisation. We're open to candidates looking for a full-time or part-time position. Ideally you will be based in our Carlton Head Office, but we will also consider applications from individuals seeking to work remotely or with other flexible arrangements. You will deliver recruitment excellence through providing advice on innovative and best-practise approaches and tools. The most senior member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will coach and mentor two team members while working with the HR Business Partners to identify and implement key recruitment projects. As a part of our broader People & Culture team, you will report to the HR Business Partner Employee Experience & Talent Acquisition.

You will make an impact by:

  • Increasing hiring manager recruitment capability
  • Owning the delivery of identified recruitment plans and projects
  • Actively participating in operational recruitment activities for key vacancies
  • Leveraging your knowledge of recruitment best-practice to recommend new innovations and improvements
  • Ensuring high engagement and an exceptional candidate experience
  • Analyse data to identify ways to improve and justify recommendations for change.

A natural flair for communication and customer service will see you facilitate hiring manager education sessions to help them embrace our decentralised model to achieve great hiring outcomes

This role requires:

  • Solid experience gained across operational recruitment activities
  • Significant exposure to managing recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and developing stakeholders
  • Demonstrated expertise in candidate sourcing and selection
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent lived experience
