Where you come in:

In this full-time, permanent position*, based in our Carlton Head Office (or another location that works for you) you will plan and deliver recruitment for vacancies across all areas of the organisation. Reporting to our Head of Talent and Organisational Development, you will work within the established talent acquisition strategy to execute end-to-end recruitment process and be a trusted adviser within the People and Culture team.

You will make an impact by:

  • Support Hiring Managers with end-to-end recruitment solutions, including ad hoc support to the Talent Acquisition team,
  • Assisting with preparing written communications for recruitment activities,
  • Efficiently utilise the Save the Children internal Applicant Tracking System, SilkRoad OpenHire and contribute to continuous improvement of the system,
  • Liaising with Hiring Managers to understand key objectives of their vacancies and establish a critical path for delivery,
  • Supporting Hiring Managers with proactive sourcing for difficult-to-fill roles; using a range of creative sourcing strategies where required.

You are an experience Talent Acquisition Advisor with business partnering capability and exposure to a dynamic, end-to-end recruitment environment. You're a natural relationship manager and utilise a customer centric approach to effortlessly prioritise diverse stakeholder demands. You thrive on variety and are looking for a role where you can leverage your expertise and feel your input adds genuine value to the organisational strategy.

This role requires:

  • Significant experience in end-to-end recruitment activities, either in an Agency or a Business Partner capacity,
  • Coaching skills as you work to develop others in the use of established frameworks and tools,
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills,
  • Strong prioritisation, time management and organisational skills,
  • Understanding of Employment Branding and EVPs,
  • Knowledge and/or experience in best-practice recruitment to support inclusion and diversity initiatives.
