Inspire financial confidence across our organisation in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. You will proactively seek opportunities to implement innovative financial solutions and partner with our State Director NT & WA to steer the financial performance of the state office and its programs. We need you to ensure the effective use of resources to fulfil our commitments to our stakeholders, and make sure that we are accountable to donors and maintain the respect and trust of funding agencies, partners, and beneficiaries.

In this full-time permanent position, based in either our Darwin or Perth office*, you will work on timely and accurate financial and management reporting (including preparation of budgets and forecasts) on state office operations and programs, as well as overseeing the processing of income and expenditure. You will be part of our Finance team and report to our Finance Business Partner, Australian Services.

Position Description -State Accountant, NT & WA
*While COVID-19 social distancing restrictions are in place, this role works remotely (i.e. from home or an alternative location). Once the pandemic restrictions are lifted, the role will be based in our office in Darwin or Perth.
