Senior Practitioner, Local Level Alliance - Mount Isa

No two days are the same in this important leadership role that facilitates the Mount Isa and Gulf region's Local Level Alliance (LLA). We need your exceptional people skills to motivate community agencies and Government Departments to commit to collaborative, action focused activities to deal with the issues affecting vulnerable children and families' ability to live happy, safe and healthy lives. Your infectious enthusiasm for collaboration and collective impact, your courage and commitment to continually improving the work we do, coupled with your exceptional organisational and time management skills make you the perfect candidate for this role!

Where you come in:

In this full time permanent position, you will facilitate the Local Level Alliance across Mount Isa and the Gulf. You will make an impact by:

  • Driving specific place-based initiatives to enhance the support available for children and families in and across their community
  • Working the service system to integrate various practice frameworks in the provision of child centred family focused support
  • Facilitating service system level development and re-design processes by analysing the impacts of services provision and gaps

…We're looking for a leader who is organised, proactive and influential, with exceptional skills in communication, facilitation and motivating a diverse range of stakeholders to work together to ensure families receive the right services at the right time. You're known for your ability to manage conflict, find the common ground and keep relationships strong whilst inspiring change. You're action driven and outcome focused, possess a high level of integrity and personal accountability, and you're happiest when you are working in a role that supports groups to achieve their goals.

This role requires:

  • Proven leadership skills, the ability to nurture stakeholder relationships and maintain action and outcomes focused initiatives
  • Exceptional facilitation skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate activities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and complex scenarios
  • Current valid driver's licence
  • Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor qualification in a relevant human services discipline is desirable
