Save the Children is one of the leading humanitarian actors in Australia and around the world. The Senior Humanitarian Advisor plays a key role in us ensuring we save lives and leave no child behind. You will be part of a globally networked and diverse team of humanitarians responding to disasters in Asia, the Pacific and beyond. Contribute your capability in the humanitarian sector to support chronic and sudden onset emergencies across the world.

In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton, you will work across the organisation to build our expertise and profile in humanitarian response including positioning our organisation as the leader on humanitarian response. You will work closely with the Humanitarian Director to ensure oversight of strategic programmatic priorities and the development and delivery of quality humanitarian programs.

You're highly flexible, enjoy working in difficult circumstances, with an ability to manage a varied and unpredictable workload. You're comfortable in a corporate environment and a field office and enjoy working within a team and independently. You are an outstanding project manager who can see the big picture and enjoys digging into the detail.
