In this key leadership role, you'll drive Save the Children's programs and community engagement across northern Victoria, leading a dedicated and passionate team and working in partnership with community to maximise our impact. Your knowledge and experience will contribute to positioning Save the Children as a practice leader in the sector and a key partner in community to deliver real and measurable outcomes for children and young people from all cultures.

We deliver services in every state and territory in Australia, particularly in the areas of child development, child protection, school engagement and youth justice. In this full-time, permanent role based in Northern Victoria, you'll lead teams working in various programs across the region - primarily in Greater Shepparton. Our programs in these regions include supported playgroups, a youth justice service, a kindergarten and associated school readiness program, HIPPY and the place based collective impact program Connected Beginnings. Reporting to our Director Southern States, you'll be a key member of our Southern States leadership Team.
Your strong leadership is reflected in the success of your teams and their projects and in your partnerships with community. You have a thorough understanding of child rights focused service delivery. You're inquisitive, passionate and motivated to seek constant development. Your ability to negotiate and build lasting relationships will mean you'll network effectively across the region, increasing our reach and impact. Your empathy and highly developed interpersonal skills give you a flair for engaging with stakeholders across diverse backgrounds and experiences.
