Climate change affects children in poor and vulnerable communities and is one of the principal development challenges of the twenty-first century. We need you to support our work in demonstrating that children have a voice in the future they will inherent and that their capacities can contribute to shaping a world where those most impacted are able to adapt and thrive in the face of unavoidable climate change.
We're ambitious, creative and outspoken. We stand up for children's rights. We want all children to be educated, healthy and live a life free from violence. We run programs in Australia and overseas and, if there's a disaster - like an earthquake, drought or conflict - we are there on the ground.
In this part-time maximum-term position (two to three days per week for one year), based in Carlton*, you will work on planning, designing and implementing a process for the management and oversight of the design processes for Green Climate Fund (GCF) projects - the world's largest single climate finance mechanism, to which Save the Children Australia recently gained accreditation. You will be part of our International Programs team and report to our Head of Specialised Technical Services.
